Air Force medics have taken over from Army medical personnel to support the Radwaniya Civil Military Operations Center, which serves Iraqis living to the south and west of Baghdad. Members of the 447th Expeditionary Medical Squadron, Sather AB, Iraq, began assisting the Army in November. Soldiers of the 48th Brigade Combat Team and Charlie Company, 490th Civil Affairs Battalion, refurbished an existing building to create the clinic, which sees about 30 patients a day on the three days it is open.
