Airmen performed an Air Force Review on April 14 at the new Air Force Memorial in Arlington, Va. Hosted by Maj. Gen. Robert Smolen, commander of the Air Force District of Washington, the event marked the return of a 300-year-old military tradition stemming from the use of drummers to call English troops from their billets in towns and villages around a battlefield, reports SSgt. Madelyn Waychoff.

Pentagon Task Force, FAA to Test Counter-Drone Laser

The Pentagon’s counter-drone task force announced it would conduct a high-energy laser test with the Federal Aviation Administration less than a month after the use of a military counter-drone laser on the southwest border prompted the FAA to shut down the airspace over El Paso, Texas.
