Gen. Michael Moseley, Chief of Staff, and CMSAF Rodney McKinley penned their names on the bottom of a top portion to be added to one of the three spires that form the centerpiece of the new Air Force Memorial. Officials expect the memorial to be completed on Oct. 14.
A combined Navy and Air Force program is seeking to build a smaller version of a ubiquitous air-to-air missile that could give advanced aircraft, such as the Collaborative Combat Aircraft, greater magazine depth in a high-end fight.
