Malmstrom AFB, Mont., Patrick AFB, Fla., and Peterson AFB, Colo., were the top winners at Air Force Space Command’s Guardian Challenge 2006. Malmstrom’s 341st Space Wing received the Blanchard Trophy for Best Intercontinental Ballistic Missile Space Wing. The 45th SW from Patrick took home the Schriever Trophy for Best Space Launch Wing.
