He served in both the active duty Air Force and Air Force Reserve, making him “uniquely qualified” to bring Army and Air Guard enlisted issues to the attention of his boss, reports Sgt. Jim Greenhill. Hudson says, “My primary concern is enlisted issues—joint enlisted issues.”

A new law introduced by Congress would raise the pay rate 15 percent for junior enlisted troops and seek improvements on a range of quality of life issues, such as pay and compensation, child care, housing, health care access, and military spouse employment.
