The FAA has named Capt. Todd Lobato its Safety Team Representative of the Year. Lobato is the chief air traffic control trainer for the Utah Air National Guard’s 299th Range Control Squadron and serves as the aviation safety counselor for the Utah region. He created and deployed a mid-air collision public awareness campaign that he carried to 11 cities over a three-week period, reports SrA. Andrew Howells.
