The Air Force presented the Airman’s Medal on March 18 to SrA. Shane Reid at his deployed location with the 379th Air Expeditionary Wing in Southwest Asia. According to the 379th AEW photo release, Reid helped rescue an elderly couple trapped in a burning vehicle in late 2006 in Orlando, Fla.
The Space Development Agency says it’s on track to issue its next batch of missile warning and tracking satellite contracts this month after those awards were delayed by the Pentagon’s decision to divert funds from the agency to pay troops during this fall’s prolonged government shutdown.
