Officials and residents around Beale AFB, Calif., believe that the base would be a good site for the Air Force’s new Cyber Command, reports the Appeal Democrat. They are late to join the race, since Louisiana and Nebraska elected officials have been pitching Barksdale Air Force Base and Offutt Air Force Base, respectively, for months.
