Saudis Choose Eurofighter: Saudi Arabia has opted to replace its Tornado and other aircraft—news reports vary on the number—with Eurofighter Typhoon, the fighter produced by a BAE Systems, EADS, and Fimeccanica SpA. consortium. An agreement signed between the Saudi and British governments on the deal also includes joint training and exercises. The Eurofighter consortium recently lost out to Boeing for sale of fighters to Singapore.
