Engaging the “Old” EBO Concept: The jointness gurus at US Joint Forces Command are busy making final preparations for the upcoming Multinational Experiment 4—an exercise with allied countries that, command officials say, will explore the use of the full range of effects based operations. (Read how one of EBO’s chief proponents described it in our 2001 article “Firing For Effects.”) The JFCOM-led exercise is slated to run Feb. 20-March 17. Is EBO finally on the front lines of jointness?
