Nine airmen from Soto Cano AB, Honduras, have deployed as part of Joint Task Force-Bravo supporting post-Hurricane Stan relief efforts in Guatemala. The JTF is based out of Guatemala City’s international airport. Pentagon officials say it has been flying relief operations since Oct. 7, delivering more than 425,000 pounds of food, medical supplies, and equipment.
The Air Force is launching an effort to develop a new stand-off missile with a range of 1,000 nautical miles, or 1,150 miles, that would eventually be used for both air-to-air and air-to-surface missions.
