Some Arizonians are mighty unhappy with Republican Sen. John McCain, who they believe dropped the ball when it comes to support for a land swap deal around Luke AFB, Ariz., according to The Arizona Republic. The Arizona governor’s Military Facilities Task Force developed a strategy to keep Luke off the base closure list that included land trades for farmers whose land borders the air base and who cannot sell their land to developers.
