Air Force Materiel Command has issued reduction-in-force notices to 96 civilians that work at Wright-Patterson AFB, Ohio. The base already had approved 187 early retirements or separations. Both actions are part of the command’s share of the Air Force-wide reduction of about 2,000 civilians in Fiscal 2007. The RIF notices at Wright-Patt include 33 separations, 21 reductions in grade, and 42 reassignments. All the actions take effect Oct. 1.
