Pentagon chief Donald Rumsfeld’s take on the BRAC process so far is that the Pentagon provided “certified data” while everything that has come out of other sources since is “marketing data.” One has to give more weight to certified data, prepared during two years of work, than to data being presented to sell a point of view, Rumsfeld told reporters Tuesday.
