The Air Force’s latest list of selective reenlistment bonuses contains 91 specialties. The revised list is meant to place a greater emphasis on retaining active duty airmen with 17 months to six years of service, said TSgt. Christopher Dowlearn, the noncommissioned officer in charge of reenlistments at the Air Force Personnel Center. USAF has added 10 Air Force specialty codes to the list and increased 31 codes in at least one zone. Conversely, 30 AFSCs had a zone eliminated or decreased, and two codes were completely removed from the bonus program. All increases and additions are effective as of Nov. 4, while all decreases and deletions will go into effect on Dec. 4. Last year’s list included 88 AFSCs. (AFPC release)
