We almost missed this one, but SSgt. Dennis Davis has received a Bronze Star for his work with a Weapons Inspection Team in Iraq. Davis, who is with the 67th Network Warfare Wing at Brooks City-Base, Tex., received his medal during a ceremony last month. During his deployment to Iraq, he spent some 550 hours “outside the wire,” working with explosive ordnance disposal personnel to identify and analyze improvised explosive devices and other weapons. Airman 1st Class Marcus White-Allen concocted a story to cover up that he fired his M18 9mm pistol into Airman Braden Lovan’s chest killing him on July 20, two Airmen from F.E. Warren Air Force Base, WY testified during separate courts martial proceedings on Oct. 30-31.
