The Air Force Association Cycling Classic takes place June 13-14 in Arlington, Va. The two-day event will include cycling opportunities for participants of all abilities, including the Professional and Amateur races, a kids’ race, and a cycling event exclusively for service members. For the third consecutive year, AFA’s Wounded Airman Program (WAP) has been named the event’s official beneficiary. Proceeds brought in through Team Sabre riders and other on-site fundraising efforts will all be donated to the WAP. The top Team Sabre fundraiser will receive a special jersey to wear during Sunday’s ride and will be recognized at the start of the Challenge Ride and at the awards ceremony. Spectators may attend free of charge. The event will also stream live from www.cyclingclassic.org. Those interesting in donating to the AFA Wounded Airman Program can do so here.
