Three Argentine Air Force officers have finished a week-long visit at Moody AFB, Ga., where the pilots exchanged information about training techniques and procedures with instructors of Moody’s 479th Flying Training Group. It follows a visit by four Argentine pilots last year when they wanted to gain technical knowledge about advanced avionics to augment plans to upgrade the AAF’s IA-63 Pampa aircraft. According to Capt. Juan Sabalua, this visit was purely to pick up tips about how to instruct student pilots using the newer avionics.
