Another Gallup Poll survey questions whether Americans believe Congress should pass a plan for US troop withdrawal from Iraq—a majority (57 percent) says it should. However, the issue of when the withdrawal should start gets murkier. This graph (click on the box) indicates that there’s a fairly even split between those who would bring troops home now or at least within 12 months and those who would leave them until the job is done.
