The Air Force officially has released its 2006 Posture Statement in a glossy 52-page document. (Service leaders provided a text only version during their testimony before the House and Senate Armed Services Committees last week. (See it at right under “Testimony” or click here.)
The successful second flight of Blue Origin’s New Glenn rocket on Nov. 13 from Cape Canaveral Space Force Station, Fla., also included a first for the company—the launcher’s booster stuck its landing on a barge in the Atlantic Ocean.
