Airmen with the 35th Fighter Squadron and Aircraft Maintenance Unit deployed with Operation Commando Sling to Singapore used their spare time to shepherd donation of computer equipment from Singapore citizens and then loaded the pieces with updated software before shipping them to schools in the Philippines. The donation drive netted more than 50 computers and monitors, five scanners, and four overhead projectors. “I [could] just imagine the look on the kids’ faces when they receive the computers. That made my day,” said SSgt. Tracy Williams of the 35th AMU.
