United States Forces Korea senior enlisted advisor Army Command Sgt. Maj. Barry Wheeler recently stopped by Kunsan AB, South Korea, to see how the airmen of the Wolf Pack and the US Army soldiers who support them with Patriot batteries are faring. Wheeler noted that USFK officials are trying to make Korean assignments “a little more normal” and see quality of life improvements coming as USFK downsizes the number of facilities on the peninsula.
The Space Development Agency says it’s on track to issue its next batch of missile warning and tracking satellite contracts this month after those awards were delayed by the Pentagon’s decision to divert funds from the agency to pay troops during this fall’s prolonged government shutdown.
