Transformation Leader Dies at 63:

Retired Navy Vice Adm. Arthur K. Cebrowski, 63, the first head of the Pentagon’s Office of Transformation died Nov. 12 in Bethesda, Md., from cancer. A Naval aviator, Cebrowski was president of the Naval War College from 1998 to 2001, then Defense Secretary Donald Rumsfeld selected him to lead the department’s transformation efforts.
