The Japan Air Self Defense Force plans to fly its F-2 in the upcoming installment of Cope North, marking the first time the F-2 fighter has flown outside Japanese territory. Andersen AFB, Guam, is hosting the joint and bilateral exercise from June 11-22.
The Space Development Agency says it’s on track to issue its next batch of missile warning and tracking satellite contracts this month after those awards were delayed by the Pentagon’s decision to divert funds from the agency to pay troops during this fall’s prolonged government shutdown.
