Some airmen and base employees at Hanscom AFB, Mass., held their cards a little too long. Turns out, from April until late last week, a group of 60 to 70 men and women would gather at an on-base club to play highly popular Texas Hold ’Em, according to the Bedford Minuteman. Last week the sessions were cancelled “following inquiries.” There’s a DOD rule against on-base gambling. Base officials thought all of the proceeds went to charity, but that wasn’t the case…..
