Air Force Reserve Command recruiters have received a “Stevie” award, the “Oscar” of the business world. AFRC Recruiting Service, which has met its new enlistment goal for seven straight years, received the first “Recruitment/Staffing Sales Organization of the Year” award during a ceremony in Las Vegas earlier this month. The Space Development Agency says it’s on track to issue its next batch of missile warning and tracking satellite contracts this month after those awards were delayed by the Pentagon’s decision to divert funds from the agency to pay troops during this fall’s prolonged government shutdown.
