The first of four new dorms planned for Kunsan AB, South Korea, will open next week, reports Stars and Stripes. The $19.1 million dorm will provide space for 288 airmen, four per suite, but each airman gets his own bedroom and bath. The base is replacing its 1980s-vintage dorms and expects to complete the last one in 2009. The US military is paying for the construction of three; South Korea is paying for the fourth.
