Responding to questions after his speech, Krieg said he welcomes a Congressional review of the Pentagon’s long-term needs, saying he hopes the study leads to a “very spirited debate about choice.” The Congress-led shadow of DOD’s QDR is being organized by House Armed Services Committee Chairman Duncan Hunter (R-Calif.) and ranking member Ike Skelton (D-Mo.).
