Whence the JSF Timetable: Reuters news service reports that Pentagon acquisition guru Kenneth Krieg held a set-to last week with DOD and service officials to lay out a timetable for acquisition of the F-35 Joint Strike Fighter. They met but produced no schedule, at least for public consumption. (Congressional Research Service defense analysts claim the program is being developed too fast.)
The Space Development Agency says it’s on track to issue its next batch of missile warning and tracking satellite contracts this month after those awards were delayed by the Pentagon’s decision to divert funds from the agency to pay troops during this fall’s prolonged government shutdown.
