The 94th Fighter Squadron at Langley AFB, Va., has gotten its final new F-22A stealth fighter, taking receipt of Raptor No. 094 on June 5, reports A1C Chase DeMayo. Squadron commander Lt. Col. Kevin Fesler flew 094 to its home at Langley, where it will serve as the 94th’s flagship aircraft. To get No. 094, the Langley unit had to trade fighters with the 90th FS at Elmendorf AFB, Alaska. The Alaska unit took No. 086. Joining the 94th FS in this rare situation are the unit’s mechanics, who comprise the 94th Aircraft Maintenance Unit.
