The men and women of the US Air Force represent the best Air Force in the world, and this generation is “as good as ever, but they are standing on the shoulders of giants,” Gen. Michael Moseley, Air Force Chief of Staff, said. Speaking at the 42nd Air Force Villages Chairman’s Dinner, Moseley said that he is confident in the ability of today’s airmen to accomplish any mission. “The real treasure of the Air Force is its people,” he said.
Brig. Gen. Clarence E. “Bud” Anderson, the last surviving triple ace from World War II, was honored one last time by the nation's top Airmen when he was buried here with full military honors March 30.
