Lockheed Martin won a $2 billion contract from the Air Force to provide operational and network management for the Transformational Satellite Communications program. The TSAT Mission Operations System, or TMOS, contract covers integration of network architecture and design. Lockheed is to complete the work by September 2015.
The two Collaborative Combat Aircraft prototypes are expected to fly very soon, as Anduril Industries and General Atomics Aeronautical Systems conclude ground tests. The two aircraft will fly from commercial airports in the desert areas north of Los Angeles, California, not far from Edwards Air Force Base.
