An entry in the March 29 and 30 Daily Report incorrectly stated the F-22A aircraft availability in relation to other Air Force platforms. The F-22A aircraft availability for the fourth quarter of 2016 was third lowest among 17 aircraft included in Air Force data provided to the House Armed Services readiness subcommittee. We have corrected the original entry.
A combined Navy and Air Force program is seeking to build a smaller version of a ubiquitous air-to-air missile that could give advanced aircraft, such as the Collaborative Combat Aircraft, greater magazine depth in a high-end fight.
