The
Women in Military Service for America Memorial has created a special exhibit displaying more than 100 photos that show US soldiers and Marines in action from the Civil War to the present day, according to a May 28 American Forces Press Service release. “The American Soldier: A Photographic Tribute to Soldiers and Marines” opened on Memorial Day and runs through Labor Day at the Women’s Memorial in Arlington, Va., and is free. Sponsored by EADS North America, the exhibit will also travel around the country (see the Web site for venue dates and locations). (AFPS release by Gerry Gilmore)
