Lockheed Martin announced Sept. 13 that the first production C-5M Super Galaxy now has a newly painted tail flash. Lockheed’s Marietta, Ga., production facility painted tail No. 31285 with the new flash. The company expects to deliver this aircraft to Air Mobility Command soon for stationing at Dover AFB, Del.
Aircraft readiness will suffer if Congress does not approve some $1.5 billion worth of spare parts the Air Force requested in its annual Unfunded Priorities List, sent to Capitol Hill last week, Chief of Staff Gen. David W. Allvin said.
