Air Force Global Strike Command has declared its 90th Missile Wing at F.E. Warren AFB, Wyo., mission ready following the unit’s first full no-notice nuclear surety inspection under the new command. AFGSC had conducted limited NSIs for all three of its missile wings in December. While undergoing the full NSI, the 90th MW also completed a nuclear operational readiness inspection and operational readiness inspection. The Air Force has finished modifying and testing the new VC-25B Bridge aircraft that will serve as a temporary Air Force One, the service announced May 1. All that’s left now is to finish painting the jet before it starts flying this summer.
