The Army and Air Force Exchange Service says it has a programs that should help reduce the expense of keeping a deployed service member stocked with those daily necessities—shampoo, toothpaste, body powder, and the like. The solution: Don’t ship this stuff from the US. Instead, send a “Gifts from the Homefront” certificates good for merchandise in AAFES facilities in Southwest Asia. Like more info, try here.
