Central Command Air Forces has a special Web site displaying individual and unit awards that Air Force Reserve Command officials say Reservists should visit to see whether they are eligible for awards from their duty in the Global War on Terror. Since 9/11, they note, the Air Force has mobilized about 30,000 Reservists and thousands more have volunteered.
Unit commanders are being told to separate service members who can’t shave their cheeks and chin for medical reasons for more than a year, according to new guidance from Secretary of War Pete Hegseth.
