Pentagon Plots Appeal on NSPS Labor Decision: DOD officials say they will work with the Justice Department to appeal the decision by US District Court Judge Emmet Sullivan that faulted the collective bargaining provision, among other things, in the new National Security Personnel System. A Pentagon spokesman did not reveal the basis for the appeal.
The Space Development Agency says it’s on track to issue its next batch of missile warning and tracking satellite contracts this month after those awards were delayed by the Pentagon’s decision to divert funds from the agency to pay troops during this fall’s prolonged government shutdown.
