The Air Force has awarded a Bronze Star Medal to Maj. Greg Whitaker with the 3rd Combat Communications Squadron at Tinker AFB, Okla., for his actions while deployed to Afghanistan. Brandice Armstrong reports that Whitaker received the award for his “outstanding leadership and technical expertise.”
