Airmen at Manas AB, Kyrgyzstan, set a couple of fuel records this fall, according to the current Ganci Gazette. Airmen of the 376th Expeditionary Logistics Readiness Squadron Petroleum, Oils, and Lubricants Flight, received a record amount of fuel—some 7.256 million gallons—in October, setting a new monthly record for the main transit facility for operations in Afghanistan. That same month, they also set a one-day delivered record of 356,000 gallons.
The Space Development Agency says it’s on track to issue its next batch of missile warning and tracking satellite contracts this month after those awards were delayed by the Pentagon’s decision to divert funds from the agency to pay troops during this fall’s prolonged government shutdown.
