One military officer connected to the intelligence team called Able Danger who, in 2000, knew of information about the 9/11 terrorist group has come into the light. In an interview with the New York Times Monday, Army Lt. Col. Anthony Shaffer said that military lawyers forced the Able Danger team to cancel three appointments with the FBI. Shaffer confirmed the team had identified Mohamed Atta three other of the hijackers by name.
The Space Development Agency added 21 satellites to its nascent data transport network in an Oct. 15 launch, the second mission in a 10-month campaign to field 154 operational spacecraft.
