According to a recent article in The News Journal, the Delaware Air National Guard “has flown into hot spots all over the world” during its 60-plus year history. The report offers a brief glimpse of the history of the Delaware Air Guard, from its fighter unit days to its present as the 166th Airlift Wing, which narrowly escaped the BRAC 2005 axe.
