Governor Jodi Rell vowed Friday to pursue legal remedies. She said in a written statement that, as commander in chief of the state’s National Guard, she had not approved movement of the unit. Rell maintained, “I have not done that and I will not do that—period.”
Members of the House Armed Services Committee say the AIM-260 Joint Advanced Tactical Missile program has been set back three months due to the ongoing government shutdown. The comment is noteworthy because the JATM's status has been kept tightly under wraps.
