Chief of Staff Gen. Norton Schwartz has assigned Maj. Gen. Christopher Bogdan, KC-46 program executive officer since June 2009, to be deputy director of the F-35 strike fighter program office in Arlington, Va., announced the Pentagon. Assigned to take Bogdan’s place is Maj. Gen. John Thompson, according to the Pentagon’s May 11 release. Thompson has been the F-35 program office’s deputy director since September 2011. The KC-46 program office is located at Wright-Patterson AFB, Ohio.
