F-15C Fighter That Downed MiGs Arrives at Smithsonian for Display

The F-15C Eagle flown by Cesar “Rico” Rodriguez when he downed two Iraqi MiGs in the 1991 Gulf War has been delivered to the Smithsonian’s Steven F. Udvar-Hazy Center in Chantilly, Va., where it will go on permanent display in the coming weeks. It’s the first F-15 to be displayed by the National Air & Space Museum.
