Arsenal of Democracy

A unique parade of vintage military aircraft—dubbed the “Arsenal of Democracy Flyover”—flew down the Potomac River and the National Mall in Washington, D.C., Friday, commemorating the 70th anniversary of Victory in Europe during World War II. Among the aircraft was the B-29 Superfortress pictured above.
