The Air Force Office of Special Investigation is working with German officials to investigate potential corruption involved with the new Kaiserlautern Military Community Center, which was the focus of a House Committee on Oversight and Government Reform recently, and other construction projects on Ramstein AB, Germany. Stars and Stripes reports that German investigators have seized more than 2,000 documents since they began two years ago to check into the civilian construction firms involved with the new K-town mall and hotel project and runway and passenger terminal projects at Ramstein. The German investigation has centered on 20 suspects, including two US citizens.
