The National Security Space Institute in Colorado Springs, Colo., plans to inaugurate the first Missile Warning Advanced Course on July 24. The goal of the 13-week course is to create “pioneering space professionals whose knowledge encapsulates all tactical aspects of missile warning and missile defense,” says instructor George Glass. The MWAC will feature in-depth activities on missile warning and defense with a focus on space-based warning assets as well as sensor physics, enemy threat systems, warning architectures, and air, land and sea based sensors.
