The Pentagon confirmed today that an improvised explosive device killed MSgt. Brad A. Clemmons, 37, of Chillicothe, Ohio, on Aug. 21 when the vehicle in which Clemmons was riding struck the IED. Clemmons, who was an explosive ordnance disposal craftsman with the 354th Civil Engineering Squadron at Eielson AFB, Alaska, was traveling in a convoy to Taji, Iraq.
